Mein Montage-Tipp

Pedale-Gewinde fetten, einschrauben (rechts Rechtsgewinde, links Linksgewinde). Mit Pedalschlüssel oder 8mm-Inbus auf 35 Nm anziehen. Pin-Höhe vor dem ersten Einsatz prüfen, ggf. mit Unterlegscheiben (im Lieferumfang) anpassen. Standard-Pin-Höhe ist 4 mm, das passt zu MTB-Plattform-Schuhen wie Five Ten oder Specialized 2FO.

Pflege-Hinweise

  • Pin-Festigkeit nach jedem Bikepark-Day prüfen, lose Pins mit Loctite mittel sichern
  • Verlorene Pins als Reserve-Set nachbestellen (TATZE liefert)

Lohnen sich 14 Pins gegenüber 10 Pins?

Bei E-MTB-Hochlast oder reinem Bikepark ja, der Mehr-Grip ist spürbar. Im normalen Trail-Einsatz reichen 10 Pins beim CONTACT völlig aus, der Aufpreis fürs MC-AIR FLAT lohnt sich dort weniger. Faustregel: Wenn du Schienbein-Schoner trägst und im Bikepark fährst, MC-AIR FLAT. Sonst CONTACT.

Hält das Pedal Bosch-CX-Drehmomente?

Ja, deutlich. Die CNC-Aluminium-Konstruktion und Cromoly-Achse sind speziell auf E-MTB-Last ausgelegt. In der Praxis sehe ich MC-AIR-FLAT-Pedale, die nach 3 Saisons E-MTB-Trail noch wie neu aussehen.

Welche Schuhe brauche ich?

Plattform-MTB-Schuhe mit gummi-haftender Sohle. Five Ten Freerider, Specialized 2FO, Vans MTB, Northwave Tribe. Normale Sneaker oder Wanderschuhe sind nicht ideal, weil die Sohle nicht ausreichend grip-fest ist.

Brauche ich Schienbein-Schoner?

Bei Bikepark oder aggressivem Trail definitiv ja. Die 14 Pins sind sehr aggressiv und hinterlassen blutende Schrammen, falls das Pedal das Schienbein trifft. Meine Empfehlung: Im Bikepark immer mit Schoner, im normalen Trail-Einsatz lange MTB-Hosen reichen meist.

I was looking for this exact product but didn’t know it! We recently moved into a new home and had zero window treatments so needless to say I wanted something quick, affordable and not vinyl WalMart blinds. We are happy with our purchase and would highly recommend to others. Some complain of the adhesive not sticking- make sure to clean the window wells/walls etc prior to installing these. If the surface is free of dirt/grease there will be no issues with them staying put.

I really love the look of this pickleball set. The blue color and overall design look very stylish and premium. I have much more expensive paddles but my wife has her best games while using these.
This paddle set comes with 2 paddles, 2 indoor balls, 2 outdoor balls, 2 extra grip tapes, and a bag large enough to fit all of these and small items like keys, wallet, etc. There’s a front zipper pocket, that I can put most of my accessories in. Then the larger main cavity that holds the paddles and everything else is also zipper operated. Now let’s talk paddles. These are 13mm width paddles. They’re very lightweight, making the flickability a lot easier vs other heavier paddles. The paddles weigh only 7.1oz. The surface is fiberglass and is frosted. Allowing for some grip to assist with adding a topspin or slice to the ball. Since this is 13mm you can feel a bit of dwell time, although it’s not as much as the 16mm paddles. The feed back and response of the paddles are excellent. They produce a loud pop as the paddles makes contact with the ball. The grip tape on the paddles as they arrived as well as the extra grip tape is absolutely premium. They are sweat wicking, ribbed and is very grippy. This is great for some heated matches. Your paddles will not slip easily. This is a great entry set to pickleball for the family without reducing quality and at a great price. I’ve played against my cousins and they have about a year of pickleball under their belt over me and I can beat them with their $200 paddles with these. That says very little but consider this set as an excellent quality stepping stone.
